Starting an hour before a few GK Band Concerts (typically 6pm) the GKHS Commons is transformed into an inviting reception area with hot coffee, tea, water, and plenty of individually wrapped and home baked items donated and baked from our fellow band parents and students (YES! We have students that love to cook!).

Come and join us for a fresh baked good and get to know your community. Items are suggested donations only, food and drink are typically around $1 suggested donation and go to a great cause...your students! Booster Volunteers will also be around for a short while after the concert ends to sell any remaining treats to take home with you.....if they make it that long!

If you would like to donate individual items or even a whole item such as a cake or pie, we will take those too. Contact us at the orange link below and let us know what you would like to bring. Whole items will be offered in our raffle at intermission. Come early to scope out your selection of whole bakery items and pick up some tickets!

Busy schedules may prohibit you from getting involved in large time investing volunteer opportunites and we totally get that. These bake sales are an easy way to donate a small amount of time in cost effective manner to really make a big impact. Get the most bang for your buck and help us with these type of events....Hey, even get your student involved with making and packing.
All proceeds raised at the GK Band Booster Pre Concert Bake Sales will fund the ability to provide Small Group and Instrument Clinics as well as Guest Instructors to GK Band for the 2019 - 2020 year.
